Head of Global Medical Affairs Wörwag Pharma

A multilingual Global Medical Affairs leader with a PhD in Clinical Research and Pharmacogenetics and more than a decade of experience across the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. She currently leads Global Medical Affairs at Wörwag Pharma, managing an international organization of more than 40 Medical Affairs professionals across 35 countries, including medical managers, medical writers and scientific advisors.

Her expertise spans Rx and OTC medicines, medical devices and food supplements, with a strong background in clinical research, regulatory strategy, evidence generation, and scientific and medical communication. In her current role, she has also driven the digital transformation of Medical Affairs, establishing an integrated suite of AI tools that automate and streamline key Medical Affairs processes, while building a medical multichannel engagement model to strengthen and scale scientific communication and medical education globally.

She combines her scientific expertise with a strong strategic and business perspective, further developed through the one-year Stanford LEAD Business Program, which she completed to bridge scientific excellence, leadership and business innovation and acumen in healthcare.
